Prudential’s August Oracle Technical now available…

Prudential’s latest edition is now available - bringing you commentary and insight on topical financial matters that have a technical element to them.

Their last edition, way back in early July, was the Summer Budget special which had their initial analysis of George Osborne's budget.

In this month's edition, the Technical team go back to the Summer Budget and the ensuing Finance Bill to take a look at some key areas for financial planning:

  • Gerry Brown gets to grips with the rules on the new main residence nil rate band.
  • Graeme Robb gets his crystal ball out and gives his thoughts on what we know of the new "Dividend Tax Allowance".
  • Les Cameron takes a look at the tapered annual allowance, which affects the few, and the resulting transitional rules which affects the many.
  • The regular 'Questions from the technical helpline' article which this month deals with many queries related to the Summer Budget…

The new edition is now available on PruAdviser – whilst you’re reading this month’s edition, why not browse their Oracle Library for any previous editions you may have missed?

Prudential’s Oracle publications are now CII CPD accredited which demonstrates the quality of the training provider’s course and confirms that it meets CII member CPD scheme requirements.

Prudential hope you enjoy reading the latest edition and, as always, they welcome your feedback and suggestions on improving future editions. Simply send Prudential an email and they’ll get back to you.
